Among much more "veteran" fans, they realize the writer's usual concept as it is frequent among writers to a concentrated genre among their works, some focusing on melodramas, some heavily invested in fantasy dramas. Sometimes, avid drama viewers make it a point to check the writer of the drama they loved the plot so they could check more of their works. While doing their hard work behind the cameras, it is undeniable that writers can genuinely dictate the success of a drama, no matter who the actors and actresses are. They also become the ways to showcase genres that are either not that famous or put a twist on an overused trope. They are the main reasons why plots can be enjoyable and desirable and why such tropes and so-called K-Drama cliches exist. These writers write the stories they portray, decide how the plot goes on, and provide the best lines that will invoke emotions depending on their depth. As much as some dramas' success is mainly attributed to the popularity and talent brought by their main leads, dramas won't be able to function the way we know without their writers.
